That sounds high to us, and it turns out it is. This is because Square is used more frequently in big, expensive cities than in your traditional small-town barbershop.<\/p>\n

For our tip calculator’s default settings, we will use a haircut cost of $20, which we know is twice as high in some places but half as much as in others. You can easily adjust how much your own barber charges to cut your hair.<\/p>\n

Here we use an example of a $20 haircut with a 15% tip<\/a> which gives a tip total of $3.
